Protection of Minors’ Personal Data
MECTRON S.p.A. does not intentionally collect personal data from minors, and its websites are not designed to be used by minors. Should MECTRON S.p.A. become aware that it has accidentally acquired personal data relating to a minor, it will delete such data immediately.
Data Retention
Unless otherwise required by law, MECTRON S.p.A. retains personal data only for as long as is strictly necessary for the purposes for which it was initially collected:
- Information concerning legal transactions between you and MECTRON S.p.A. is retained for 10 years after the end of the legal transaction, in accordance with the general limitation period applicable to civil claims under Italian law.
- Billing information is retained for 10 years after the end of the accounting year to which it relates, in accordance with Italian accounting and tax legislation.
- Technical information is retained for 6 months from the time it is transmitted to or collected by MECTRON S.p.A.
- Contact details, including names, postal addresses, e-mail addresses and telephone numbers, used for direct marketing purposes are retained until you request their deletion or otherwise object to or withdraw consent for such processing.
- In order to avoid profiling, behavioural data is retained in anonymous form.
Sharing Your Personal Data
We may share the personal data that you provide with members of our group, including our affiliated companies, parent company and subsidiaries, for legitimate business purposes.
MECTRON S.p.A. may perform certain activities through third-party suppliers engaged to provide specialised services, for example to assist us in improving our websites or marketing our products.
