HUMP TAKEDOWN (RASPING)

  • Progressive removal of bone;
  • Controlled gentle rasping of the nasal dorsum;

OSTEOTOMY -
A: medial oblique + low to low

  • Non traumatic - prevents nasal mucosa or periosteum lacerations, spares soft tissue and cartilage;

B: transverse (optional step)

  • R and L curvature for precise action in a limited space.
